The students in the Entrepreneurship pathway will all be working on the same standards the next two weeks, Employability Skills. Students will view videos, GA Futures ( https://www.gafutures.org/ ) and other resources.

Legal Environment of Business - BMA-LEB-1- Demonstrate employability skills required by business and industry.

Entrepreneurship - BMA-ENT-1 - Demonstrate employability skills required by business and industry.

Intro to Business and Technology - BMA-IBT-1 - Demonstrate employability skills required by business and industry.

The students will discuss and learn about the following topics:
1. Soft vs Hard Skills
2. Career Research (Create a Magazine Cover or Career Card with Research Info)
3. Resume (Create for personal portfolio)
4. References (Create for personal portfolio)
5. How to complete and respond to questions a job application (Students will create a Chick-Fil-A and Subway application)
6. Cover Letter /Snagajob (How to find a job and respond with a cover letter for personal portfolio)
7. Interview Questions - Students will learn the proper handshake, what to do before an interview (research the company), during (how to answer questions, eye contact, proper posture) and after an interview (follow-up with thank you letter).
8. Dress for Success (Students will create an informational document to inform other students how to dress for an interview). Students will create using Technology.
