IBT 
•Introduce Property Insurance

•Students will listen to module minute.

•Students will view the vocabulary for protecting your property.

•     Students will read the chapter on protecting your property located on the Word document in Risk Management folder in Schoology.

•    Students will complete the Fire, Homeowner's and Renter's Insurance matching, answers only and Disaster Strikes response  by Friday, May 1st.

•    Student will  complete assignments using a word document or sheet of paper. If completed on paper, take a picture and email. Please remember to put the name of lesson in the subject line of the email, Janice.cooper-king@cobbk12.org. Submit by April Friday, May 1st.


    Legal Environment of Business
     •Introduce Insurance Law

     •Students will view the renter’s insurance slide share, “Basics of Renters Insurance” and 2020 Georgia Renters Insurance Guide website provided in Schoology in the Renter’s Insurance Folder.

•Students will complete the Scenarios for Renters worksheet. Due by Friday,  5/1/2020

•Students will use the rental insurance website and slide share with completing the worksheet. Students will complete using word, answers ONLY. If no device, students can complete answers on paper/pen/pencil.  Students will submit to Schoology  or if writing, take a picture and submit to me via email at Janice.cooper-king@cobbk12.org by 5/1/2020 .

Entrepreneurship

•Introduce GA Futures

•Students will learn how to use GA Futures - https://www.gafutures.org/hope-state-aid-programs/hope-zell-miller-grants/hope-ged-grant/application-procedure-and-deadline/

•Complete the Hope GED Grant scavenger hunt, Due Friday, 5/1/2020 inside the GAFutures folder.

•Students will complete answers on Word document. Submit to Schoology. If no word document available, students may use paper/pencil/pen, complete and email to me at Janice.cooper-king@cobbk12.org.

•If you have not turned in your business plan, please do so. This was due the Friday before Spring Break.

•    Students will read the chapter on basic insurance located on the Word document.

•    Students will complete the matching, answers only by Friday, April 24.

•    Student will complete the Insuring Your Business Question for Thought using a word document or sheet of paper. If completed on paper, take a picture and email. Please remember to put the name of lesson in the subject line of the email, Janice.cooper-king@cobbk12.org. Submit by April Friday, April 24.

•Students will complete the auto insurance vocabulary worksheet. Due by Wednesday,  4/22/2020

•Students will use the internet to locate an article about auto insurance. Students will use terms learned from vocab and slide share to summarize the article in six or more sentence. Students will check for capitalization at beginning of sentences, spelling and grammar and punctuation at the end of the sentence. Students will submit to Schoology by 4/24/2020.

      Grades up to 3/13/20 will appear on the 5th Sixth Week Progress Report. Work after 3/13/20 will be entered after the Synergy Gradebook reopens. If you completed the assignment, you will receive a grade. If you do not complete, you will not receive a grade. You will not be penalize for work after 3/13/20. If you are trying to improve your GPA, please complete the work or your grade will remain as is. I encourage you to complete the work in order to do well in the next course for all  your classes. The choice is yours. Think long term. I am here to help you and support you. Please reference Cobb County Schools messages about grading.
