Legal Environment of Business -
Bankruptcy
Using your newly found understanding
of bankruptcy, you will create a two-column graphic organizer. In the first
column, entitled Debts Not Discharged, you will list those debts
not cancelled by bankruptcy. In the second column called, Assets Exempt
from Seizure, you will identify those assets exempt by federal law. You can
use the slide shares, websites and journals to create your graphic
organizer. Be as creative as possible but remember the objective is to
create a graphic organizer that explains debts not discharge and assets exempt
from seizure. Your project will be graded using the rubric below. You
will turn in one rubric with the grade that you think you deserve circled, and
a two-sentence paragraph telling me why you deserve that grade.
You can use word to create by going
to insert, table, insert table, number of columns (2) and number of rows (2),
click ok. Name the first column: Debts Not Discharged and
the second column: Assets Exempt from Seizure. You can find
this information easily by put these headings in Google; example: list of
assets exempts from Seizure, Bankruptcy. Use bullets to list your answers.
Remember to capitalize headings as seen below. Capitalize the first letter
after each bullet. Remember to spell/grammar check; go to review,
spelling/grammar.
Students without access to a
computer or tablet, answer on paper, scan or take a picture and send via email
to cooper_janice@bellsouth.net. Students with a computer will upload to
